Production process and flavor: Sevenhill sacramental wine was first produced in 1851 and is a highly rated and quality wine, often used in Catholic mass. The rich taste with the scent of ripe red plum combined with sweet cherry cherry that is not too astringent, it gives the user a light, faint feeling of pepper and vanilla buttercream. Sevenhill won the Cowra wine bronze medal in 2009.

Winemaker history: Sevenhill was established in 1851 with many different wine lines and sacramental wine is an important part of the winery. Sevenhill Cellars was established in the following years to provide sacramental wine to the emerging Catholic parishes in Australia. The cellars were hand dug and the winery was built from quarried stone on the property. Sevenhill has since become a renowned wine brand throughout Australia and the world.
Accounting for 25% of the annual production, the sacramental wines are made using the same recipe to create three signature wines.
Sevenhill sacramental wines are made from natural ingredients with detailed recipes that comply with the requirements of Canon law. They are sold to parishioners in Australia and are also exported to Pacific countries such as Guam, India, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea and Singapore.
